This frozen turkey, spotted in the freezer of the Cambridge Bay this past weekend, co-op costs $9.99 a pound — that's about double what a similar gobbler costs in Yellowknife. But two turkey-lovers in Cambridge Bay didn't have to pay a penny for their holiday bird this year: they won turkeys by participating in the hamlet's Oct. 2 "Turkey Trot" competition, which saw people out walking, jogging or running for a chance to win one of the two turkeys.
