"...WOLFVILLE, N.S. – a portrait of Arviat elder Martha Otuk captured a piece of the People's Choice Prize for artist Gerald Kuehl of Winnipeg during the Kingston Prize art exhibit at the Acadia University Art Gallery in Wolfville, N.S., this past month.

Kuehl, a pencil artist, is well-known across the region for his stunning portraits of Kivalliq elders. The Kingston Prize exhibition is a project of the Kingston Arts Council.
