University at Buffalo researchers lead the International Circumpolar Archaeological Project, studying how humans reacted to climate change 4,000 to 6,500 years ago in Siberias remote Kamchatka peninsula, a rough, remote and extremely volcanic wilderness. Their work will inform how relationships between human beings and their environments may change in decades to come as a result of global warming.
